Description
Thrive Communities' high school program offers a dynamic, community-focused academic experience for homeschool students, emphasizing confidence and thoughtful citizenship. Students are grouped by grade level and rotate through three 80-minute classes daily, with breaks to recharge and socialize. The curriculum includes: Expressive Arts - a year-long course with trimesters in Theater, Speech & Debate, and Art, fostering creative and rhetorical skills, Odyssey of the Mind - a course promoting creative problem-solving through collaborative challenges in disciplines like vehicle design, technical challenges, and performance arts, Historical Inquiry - a course using Mysteries in History (American History) to develop critical thinking and analytical skills through primary source analysis. The program follows a "Classical Remixed" approach, blending classical education with interactive, project-based learning to build community and belonging.
