Description

The Homeschool at Sea program offers an experiential, hands-on approach to marine science. Similar to our regular day courses, homeschool sessions include field trips to Gulf beaches, mangrove forests, or SCCF’s preserves on Sanibel. Using marine biology as a platform, the curriculum covers topics such as symbiotic relationships, lunar cycles, and taxonomy, focusing on specific sea creatures or parts of the marine ecosystem.
